First Maruthi 800 diecast model is Here | The Cutie Baby

We at Street Candy are excited to introduce our 1:32 scale model of the iconic Maruti 800, created using 3D printing technology. Every little detail, from the lights to the badges, has been meticulously replicated. This adorable model, a baby in the world of automobiles, captures the essence of the original Maruti 800 in miniature form. The cute baby is here, ready to charm car enthusiasts and collectors alike.

The first-ever unit of the Maruti 800, a legendary hatchback, has been lovingly restored to its original glory and is proudly displayed at Maruti Suzuki’s headquarters in Haryana. To celebrate this milestone, we have also created a replica model, which now resides in the Street Candy Garage. This tiny marvel pays homage to a car that has left an indelible mark on India’s automotive landscape.

In 1983, Harpal Singh and Gulshanbeer Kaur of Delhi had the honor of becoming the first proud owners of the Maruti 800. The keys to this groundbreaking vehicle were handed to them by none other than the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The Maruti 800 ignited a car revolution in India, becoming a status symbol for the Indian middle class and a cherished part of many families’ lives during the 1980s.

Our 1:32 scale model aims to capture not just the physical attributes but also the spirit and legacy of the Maruti 800. This tiny representation of the iconic hatchback is a tribute to the car that brought mobility to millions and remains a beloved classic. Join us in celebrating this automotive legend with our meticulously crafted, charming little model.
